Choose Friends Wisely

How you choose a friend is more complex than most think, how you choose people you want to call friend—people you want to be closest too—is much more involved than one might think…the friends you have—speak of who you are more loudly that anything you may say about yourself.

Guilt Better Than Gold

How we deal with guilt makes all the difference in the world. Guilt can destroy us—or it can be worth more than gold to us. Guilt can be a precursor to washing ourselves of all that mire and dirt—preserving our souls for an eternity with the Father—or misapplied, it can be what leads our souls into eternal damnation.

Saving The Next Generation

Brethren This is serious!—One lost child to the devil is one to many! • Now listen to me—These would be young people who have Christian parents—and were raised in the church
o We often here the phrase—brought up in the church. We’re losing them to either to the world—or to denominationalism. I cannot think of anything that is more tragic—more frightening—terrifying to me than that my grandchildren, or any other child would be a casualty of this spiritual war—that is lose their soul’s. That they would be turned over to Satan—and be separated from the love of God for eternity. Even more terrifying!—Is that I might be responsible in some way—because I didn’t do everything I could—I didn’t teach them like I should!—I didn’t encourage them!—I wasn’t a Godly example of Christ in their eyes!

PEOPLE OF THE BOOK PART TWO

Moses wrote concerning future kings, “And it shall be with him, and he shall read it all the days of his life, that he may learn to fear the Lord his God and be careful to observe all the words of this law and these statutes” (Deut. 17:19). What was it that would be read all the days of his life, the book of the Law! In the days of kings the word of God was to be read and observed as it it today, the word of God is to be read and observed by all God’s children. This second of a two part lesson will continue building on the teaching that God’s people are people of the book.

I Surrender All

Paul said, “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” (Gal. 2:20). Are you keeping Jesus at arms length? Are you willing to totally give up the fight? God is there, He wants to help, but often times help never comes because we choose to handle it ourselves. Many people cast their cares upon Jesus. But too often we tend to leave out the most important word, “ALL”. The instruction is to cast all your cares upon Jesus (1 Pet. 5:7). Only when we give up trying to handle it on our own, can He move in and take control.
