Our Living Hope

Listen to me my beloved brethren: the world around us may believe in hopelessness and despair. Remember the commercial and how it depicts misery as the “New Normal”? This world may want others to believe only in despair. But not so with us brethren,  we Christians have hope that is alive and “ready to be revealed”. Peter tells us that we are begotten to a living hope, we have an inheritance reserved in heaven, kept for salvation—and all by the power of God! By God’s great mercy, by God’s great grace we are born again—begotten——a new experience. And listen—being part of a new birth—means you are part of a new family, a new life, you are a new person. What is new? You have God as your Father, you have great blessings and promises, you have been elected…
