Who Are The Lost

“9 And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; 10 for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”” (Luke 19:9-10).

Definition of “the Lost”.

1. All humanity who are without Christ
2. Romans 3:23 — “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
3. Isaiah 53:6 — “All we like sheep have gone astray…”
4. Romans 5:12 – “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned”

Spiritually Blind / Undiscerning / Unbelieving

1. 2 Corinthians 4:4 “whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them”
2. Ephesians 2:12 “that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.”
